What We Do.
G.U.E.S.T. stands for "Gloucester United Emergency Shelter Team"
Day Shelter & Resource Center: The Day Shelter provides a safe space during the day for the homeless to keep warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Guests have free access to shower facilities, laundry facilities, hot meals, and Wi-Fi. Guests can also receive public transportation ride vouchers to assist in traveling to appointments and shelter. Winter Overnight Shelter: The Winter Shelter Program is hosted by local churches and civic organizations for one week at a time, rotating every Monday to a new location during the months of December, January, February, and March. The host sites provide a warm and safe space for homeless men, women and children to sleep and receive hot, nutritious meals. For more information, please visit our NIGHT SHELTER page.
